Barbeque
Ou Skool Guest House has fabulous BBQ facilites and will happily provide wood and BBQ packs. Please make prior arrangements with management.
Bar
Ou Skool Guest House is a fully licenced establishment with fabulous bar facilities. The word “Siekeboeg” which in English is Sick Bay, is where you will find something cold to drink to soothe an aching heart.

For a full range of beauty and wellness treatments on site, arrangements can be made at reception.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the "Kos Huis" when translated into English means Dining Room or coloquially speaking "Food House". Breakfast is served from 07H15 until 09H00. Should you require an earlier or later breakfast please make arrangments with management the previous night.
Breakfast includes cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, toast, juice, tea and coffee.
Camping
Camping with private bath and shower facilities are available on the premises. Click HERE for more on our camping facilities and rates.
Check Out Time
The checkout time is 10h00. Should you require a later time, please arrange
with management.
Coffee Shop
Our coffee shop is open daily between 09h00 and 16h00 during the week and from 09h00 to 13h00 on Saturdays and 10h00 to 12h30 Sundays.
Conference Facilites
The conference facility is available in the room opposite reception and seats up tp 35 delegates. All necessary conference equipment can be provided subject to advanced bookings.
Dinners
Dinners are available upon request. Delicious local cuisine or BBQ's are prepared subject to prior arrangment with reception.
Farm Stall
Our Ou Skool Farm Stall is packed with local produce and confectionery. Raisins, jams, pickles, preserves, and local seasonal fruit. Preserves and pickles all lovingly homemade and on sale for our guests and visitors to savour the flavours of the Green Kalahari.
Forward Bookings
We will be happy to arrange forward bookings for you to your next destination. Please let us know at reception how we may be of service to you.
Hairdryers
These are available for your convenience from reception.
Hunting and Hunters
We offer butchering and cooling facilities for your convenience during the hunting season. Relax at Ou Skool Guest House while your meat is specially packed and cooled ready for you to take on your trip back home.
Keys
You will be provided with a key to your room and 2 remote controls. Please do remember to hand them back to reception upon departure.
Laundry
A laundry service is available at a nominal fee. Please inform us should you require this service.

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Diners.
Parking
The parking area is situated in the front of the guest house, is well lit and historically safe. It is however suggested that you do not leave valuables in your car and keep your vehicle locked overnight.
Power Failure
In the event of a power failure, please collect a lamp at reception.
Security
- For valuable items call at reception to have your items stored in the managers office.
- Ou Skool Guest House has burglar proof/shutters on all windows. The property is situated in a historically crime free, secure and tranquil area.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted indoors but you are most welcome to do so outdoors in all public areas.
Star Gazing
Due to its ideal location Ou Skool Guest House is a star gazer's paradise. We have a telescope on site for your use when visiting.
Tea and Coffee Trays
You have been provided with tea and coffee making facilities in your room. Please ask us should you need us to replenish your stock.
Television
Colour TV's are available in all rooms with selected DSTV channels, SABC 1, 2, 3, E-TV and MNet available.
Trips and Tours
Ou Skool Guest House will gladly advise you on and book day tours and trips for you. Please chat to us at reception to find out what to do in the area.
WiFi Internet HotSpot
Internet access in the comfort of your room is available by obtaining a username and password from reception. Usage is metered and will be charged to your final account upon departure.
